I'm here to learn and to give advice to anyone in need. :)

What efficiency are you getting in the city?

Hmm Im beased because where i live i do a lot of motorway to go to work... but.

One charge gives-me 120/140/kms no problem... if i go slow (mostly 50 to 80km/h) it goes 200/220 at most... I charge almost daily but I drive a lot...
Also as a good practice I never let the battery drop bellow 20/30% and it shows having 40kms left most of the times.

Now one thing they dont tell you... with a good cable atached to the charger you can go from 20% to 80% in 8/9h using the 2.3kw charger they give you when you buy it. Not the 14h I've seen advertised. My car doesn't accept more charge than 97%.

That's good to know because my daily commute is only 30km in the city so consumption should be very good. I hope I can get up to 260km.
What do you mean good cable? They don't give you the cable included for 2.3kW?
If it was me I would give more preference not to charge more than 80% and go less than 30% down to 10%. You make more damage at high level of charge than low level.

Yes they do but, when using a good extension cable you get more juice out of the mains. I need a 15 metre extension cable to plug my car at work and the ones they had (1,5mm copper) showed the 14h+. When I bought a (2,5mm copper) cable that dropped to 8/9h.
I get you.. and I top it out at 80/85%. They gave me the car with 95% when I pick it up at the dealer.

I know that is time of thumb, but Honda manual recommends to fully charge to protect the battery?

Since I, at least, don't know how the buffer on the battery is distributed top/bottom and I know little about battery theory I'll stick to Honda recommendation.

It generally takes very qualified knowledge and possibly special circumstances to be better of deviating from factory recommendation. Countless stories from car clubs have taught me that πŸ˜‰πŸ€”

I was also puzzled why Honda wrote that in the manual. I still think it is a mistake. I would never charge to 100% unless for a road trip and drive as soon as I charge to 100%

I hear you, but if the net use of the battery is (as mentioned in other posts) 28kwh out of the whole 35kwh.
This will result in 80% charge when the display shows 100% capacity.
Right?

28kwh / 35kwh = 80% net use.
