Dear Forum Members,

My Name is Reiner, 61 years old and i am located in the south of Germany.
I just picked up my brand new Honda e in Blue Colour two weeks ago.
I am driving always Honda since 1984.
In the moment i own 3 Hondas.

1. NSX - 1991 in Red with black roof top.
2. Jazz - GG3 2009 in Blue
3. Honda e Advance 2021

I hope we can spend a good time together in this forum and share here our experiences and driving pleasure with the new Honda e.

Actually, on my day off today, I had only planned to convert the Honda-e from winter to summer tires.
I have 16 inch winter tires and 17 inch summer tires.
In addition, a 17/18 inch OZ Ultraleggera wheel combination. Not for the e
Since all rims have the same bolt circle diameter, today's sunny day offered itself to assemble all tire combinations and take a few photos.

Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.

I'm on the fence about changing my wheels/tyres, however other than the purchase cost & increased insurance premium being one issue, the other is trying to find something that I like and doesn't end up with wider tyres (the efficiency is already bad enough). I am considering adding spacers (yes I know there are downsides), this way it saves me having to find suitable replacement wheels that I like & it keeps the original look.
As for OZ Ultraleggera, please can you tell us the wheel size (including offset) because they look to sit just right in regards width, the rear face of one will have the details if you don't recall them.
Weirdly even though there's only a 1.2% difference in circumference between to 17" & 18" OZ wheels the 17" look a lot smaller in the arches.

Welcome! Wow you have full set tyres of eventualities :) Thank you for sharing.

It seem not much UK people bother changing tyres, but in Germany is it necessary perhaps??

Last but not least, is your NSX original from 1990, one with pop up headlight?? It was cool car, it's much better than current aggressive design in my opinion.

The size of the Ultraleggera rims:

Front: 8J x 17
Rear: 9J x 18

I try to register them on my 1991 NSX NA1 because its running from the beginning on stock rims.
I cannot get the original front tires 205/50 ZR 15 Tires in full speed anymore. Only available in W speed.

Nice pictures!
Just a question on the actual changing of the tires.
How do you do it safely?
If you jack on the offical jacking point, is there room for an axle stand?
Can you squeeze both on the strengthen pinch wield?
Or is there somewhere else under the car that is strong enough?

I used the official jacking points.
I don't use axle stands. Why should it?
I change wheels like on any other car in the past 40 years .

What downsides are you pondering?
