I drove at 0% battery today!
Interesting video, thank you Trykpaa, so 14miles after 0% charge that's good to know in back of my mind (though I won't rely on it!). I never would like to make acquaintance of that red tortoise myself (eg. around14min into the above video)
I didn't know RAC can give charge directly to EV on the spot, either - much better than getting on the flatback lorry! Somewhere in the past I think I've read that EV shouldn't be (can't be?) towed for some reason. Is this true?? Perhaps next time I shall change from Greenflag to RAC, though it's more expensive.
Whilst talking about this scenario, may I ask generally, I was once told & keeping as practice of "EV charging is recommended between 20%-80%" rule. Is this still valid?? Say if I keep topping up 90% to 100% often, would it shorten the battery life in anyway?
