Brompton in the boot?

Went for a test drive yesterday but I didn't have my Brompton with me to see if it would comfortably fit in the boot. In my 2018 IONIQ I lay it down flat, but the wheel arches in the back of the Honda E looks like it might not be wide enough. I could probably remove the parcel shelf and stand it maybe. Do any of you carry a Brompton in the back without folding the seat down?

Go on, make a definite prediction (with your username I think it's the least you can do ) & tell us if you think it will fit either with or without the removing the parcel shelf & I might brave the cold & check for you.

My bet will be that it wont sit flat for sure. Maybe upright but without parcel shelf fully in place.

So far my best guess is that if you have to ask , it wont fit :) Can barely get a weekly shop in there!
