How do I restart/reboot the Infotainment system?

Hi all. Does anyone know how to reboot the information system? My info panels started acting up yesterday for the first time. It became very laggy, with button presses being delayed and accumulated (i.e. delayed pressing on the panel after 5 seconds). Also, I’m not sure if it’s related to the fact that I can’t use my location/climate control on the iOS Honda app either.) Thanks in advance.

I’m afraid I don’t know about rebooting the infotainment system. But I assume turning the car off and back on didn’t help, then?

The app connectivity problems you mentioned are probably some sort of service outage - a lot of people in the UK Facebook group (including myself) have reported those issues since around Wednesday last week.

Hi. No, turning the car on/off doesn’t reboot the system. Also would you let me know the name of the FB group? Thanks!

Here’s the instructions from the manual, note that afterwards you’ll need to re-download the aquarium app:

Thanks but I was hoping not to reset the system and simply restart it…

Have you tried pressing the app history icon and swiping up to close them?

BTW What model of iPhone and version of iOS are you using?

I suggest taking the fuse out for 5 seconds and putting it back in. Works like a charm every time.

Yes, there were only 3-4 apps in the background and I closed them all once the system lag subsided. My wife had her iPhone 10 Pro Max with iOS 15.2.
