Owners should soon be seeing an email inviting them to be involved in a 1 hour My Honda+ app interview.

Note that it’s possible to score 1/2 a star at the beginning of the initial survey.

Do you feel it deserves 1/2 a star? I think it could be much better, but in my experience (of almost a year now) I would give it 2 or 3 stars out of 5. This is on iOS.

It works (for me) most of the time and is genuinely useful.

It has a lot that could be improved.

Yes, it’s so slow it’s quicker to go outside and check or use the key fob (preheat/cool) .
Some other manufacturer’s apps are virtually instantaneous.

I would participate too. IMHO the app has many functions, but the navigation and UI is unnecessarily complex.

I only have one technical problem: I cannot activate the subscription of the personal assistant service. Even though it was purchased and the registration started, there is a yellow or orange dot next to the service activation. All other services have green dots and they're working fine.

The local, Hungarian, Honda service could not help. It is clear that the registration process failed at some point and the UI does not let me restart it.

- Making it show the correct status for being locked, doors open/closed etc. Must be an extremely common complaint.
- A faster way of doing common tasks like changing the charge level or preconditioning. Support for Apple Shortcuts would be a flexible way. Currently it’s six taps to change from say 80% to 100%, which I do before longer trips.
- Fixing the cut-off descenders on some letters on iOS - looks bad.

Other than already stated.

A consistent UX/UI:
On opening the app we get 3 options around the car, then after a minute there are 4 (see below); this needs resolving.
The app appears to have been created by several different developer teams because the features & options are in different areas (i.e. Dashboard, Hamburger menu & car to left of hamburger menu).
The option to plan a route knowing the SoC of the car, location, availability & costs of public charging with user filters (e.g. charge networks, charge type) & knowing the actual efficiency of each specific car from actual usage and the ability to send this to the car quickly (i.e. by 1 click and arriving at the car within 1 second).
I could give more features but it would be a total waste of my and everyone else’s time because we all know that the app will not be significantly updated or even ‘fixed’ (i.e. works in a timely manner like the Tesla app).
