I can see that the "Personal Assistant" button has actually been edited out from the manual.

So (at least) the following is gone from the new cars:
- Personal Assistant
- Aha by Harman
- Honda App Center

Hopefully the aquarium is still around, and if so - removed the possibility to delete it.

I hope they won't remove CarPlay or the other apps as well...

Other things is "Google Play Music" is removed from the Android auto information, but I guess that's been replaced by YouTube Music, so it has nothing to do with the car.

But I do expect issues with the system to be fixed, and I'll definitely push the dealership if things isn't as advertised (which is already true with the missing app center etc).

Weird how they're not building up the app center, and reusing the platform for future cars as well...

It probably means that we're seeing the end of the e next year - they're probably just selling out the last few produced cars.

- Personal Assistant -> Never used it as it doesn't support Portuguese and without data connection also useless.
- Aha by Harman -> I did use this in the beginning but very limited so I ended up uninstalling it to keep the infotainment more «stable»
- Honda App Center -> Never had any apps so also useless.

If they are trying to debloat the system, that seems a great approach to me.
Google Play Music has been discontinued by google.. Honda has no say in this.

It's a battle you cannot win (I tried a long time ago) mostly because they have no interest in improving it...

As I stated before their direction is clear, probably going with another software supplier for future integrations (Sony etc partnerships, possibly google) witch I see as an improvement... but would like to see the current system at least made opensource or part of it (dreamers can dream).

The E was a great wasted opportunity for Honda, they recently confirmed that when they were planning the E (5/7yrs ago) they were intending in selling only Hybrids well into 2030s.
They rushed the E to keep away from having to pay the EU because of carbon credits, they paid them anyway and the result is what it is.

I've checked the manuals (briefly) and these are the changes I've found:

Missing from YM23:

- Honda Personal Assistant
- Aha by Harman
- Honda App Center
- Non-multicamera settings
- Non-parking pilot sonar information
- Backup camera

Added to YM23:

- Licensing information regarding Bluetooth, Apple iPhone/iPod, MPEG4 Visual, AVC/H.264

So mostly they've removing App Center and apps, and they've removed whatever was specific for the Basic edition (which isn't available anymore).

As long as the current features keep working, I'm happy I guess. So far I haven't used any of the functions of my Hyundai other than pre-heat/cool via app. I'm only using CarPlay as an infotainment system.

But if they were to remove CarPlay support, or if it were to stop working, I hope that's something they'd keep updating.
Hopefully Apple will also make sure to keep compatibility, as they (should) know that carmakers aren't the best to update their cars.

All in all, I guess it's OK. My Hyundai seems to still get updates, but I've rarely used any of the new features. Actually the latest update came today, but for some reason not for my specific model - Mostly navigation-stuff, but also EV-settings.

These seem to be much better in the Honda e already, with the scheduling etc.
