Maybe I missed the discussion here:
Which AC cable is the right one for our future Honda e?
I would like to have a coiled cable - winding up a dirty cable (because it was previously lying on the floor) every time does not seem attractive to me.
So what do I need?
Obviously a coiled type2-to-type2 cable.
According to Honda's webpage the Honda e's maximum charge power is 6.6 kW AC ("On Board Charger Capacity") .
Does this information relate only to Type 2, 1-phase cables?
When using a 3-phase cable: is the maximum charge power 22 kW?
Somehow you get different information on the Internet...
To make a long story short – I am interested in the following cables:
https://esl-emobility.com/de/ratio-elec ... piral.html
https://esl-emobility.com/de/phoenix-co ... piral.html
Are these examples for the right ones? Or will these cables, due to the lack of the right specifications of the car, only be able to be used in single-phase with max. 6.6 kw anyway?
The right cables
Either of those will work. You only need single phase but 3 phase will work. The car is max 6.6kW on AC even with the 22kW cable.
The car week come with a cable, don't know if it will be coiled. I coiled my Leaf one and used a Velcro tie to keep it that way. When charging I only let it as much as I needed so it didn't touch the floor, just hung off the charger and the car.

This one will do: https://esl-emobility.com/de/phoenix-co ... piral.html
Ahh. OK.
But then why does Honda offer a 1-phase and a 3-phase version?

If I follow you, the more expensive 3-phase cables do not offer any advantage with the Honda e, right?
I would take a look at a supplier like:

Much better value and good quality. Compared to an OEM.
But as stated elsewhere I think Honda will be “giving” a type 2 cable and a granny cable in the deal. Or at least something to negotiate when buying.
