I wouldn't have thought you could transfer the deposit to another dealer, because dealers are seperate companies - they're not local branches of Honda, like local branches of banks.
Are you sure? In Germany the deposit was paid (for "reservation") to Honda Germany. After ordering the car via a local dealer, the deposit was refunded...
Exactly the same in the UK, the £800 reservation fee was payable direct to 'HONDA MOTOR EUROPE LTD.', whereas when the order was placed that initial deposit was refunded & a separate £500 deposit was paid direct to the dealer, so therefore the contract is with the dealer direct.
*in some cases.

Our dealer didn't take any reservation deposit from us.

You will have missed the priority order book by ordering in February because the cutoff date was the end of October 2019 (if you had already paid the £800 reservation fee), so your delivery will be later than some of us.

Just called by the dealer, in the Netherlands (Almelo). Next Tuesday July 14 i may use a Honda e demo all day, but unfortunately no news about the delivery date of my ordered Honda e Base. He is also fed up with that. Their own ordered car, advance with leather upholstery is also delayed, was supposed to come July 22 but has been delayed to August. Apologize my English, am Nerdelander.

Indeed, and as I was told that, I was told I could have a white one next week....

I'm guessing that you didn't pay the £800 online reservation fee last May because I'm sure there was an official process to create a Honda e order, which involved the dealer requiring a new £500 deposit payable direct to them and then the dealer could send Honda a request to refund the original £800 reservation fee.

In light of that I think that we can all deduce that salesmen are still lying bastards.
Not even those of use that paid £800 last May can get one that quick, unless he's hoping sell you their demo car.

Reserved online on 21st May 2019 - the very day Honda sent out the invitation email. The £800 we paid then, was refunded within a couple of days of us creating our official order for the vehicle in September. The dealer deposit was entirely up to the dealer to request, as in evidenced by some people paying £500, some £800, and some £0. Whether or not our dealer was aware that we were going to be getting the £800 reservation deposit back at the time he put the order through, or whether he just forgot to ask us for the deposit is another matter, The fact that the order did go through is the only thing I can be sure of, as it's the only information that did actually ever update on the "my account" section of the honda.co.uk website!

If you are not too picky about the colour there should be plenty of inventory cars as people cancel their pre-orders.
