Are you getting the £3,500 grant? I really want to know how it's going to work.

It will work by Honda claiming the £3k and then swallowing the other £500 themselves.

I know but my dealer knows nothing about it and I want to know if they are really going to do it and if they will give the dealer £500.

Also the paint went up £50 since I ordered, shouldn't have to pay that.

@jaws
Have you arranged insurance, as it's a new model I'm guessing that there are very few insurance companies willing to cover it at the moment?

I'm half way through a year's insurance on the iMiEV (which has now gone to WBAC) and when I rang the broker* last week to enquire about insuring the e he said we were looking at an extra £50 for the rest of the year with Ageas and then would look around at renewal time. Pretty reasonable for a £30k car.

* 'pluginsure' - am I allowed to 'plug' them :lol:

Original order was placed on 1st October 2019. That image is (part of ) the actual invoice dated yesterday.

Thanks for the reply regards insurance, I'm currently insured with Churchill on my current car which is an ICE vehicle so as soon as I have a delivery date I'll be on the phone but am fully expecting to have to change insurers.

As for the actual invoiced amount, didn't the dealer agree to honour your original invoiced amount from 1st October 2019?
