Hi all, firstly, apologies for appearing dim, I have read the manual and I'm still confused by Hondas implementation of Auto High Beam.
Am I correct in thinking that if the Auto High Beam symbol is present and illuminated in green, the high beam has been activated and is on?
The reason for the confusion is that if the above is true, the lights seem to activate a lot in traffic and built up areas. So for instance, today I was driving along a bit of road flanked by overhanging trees in a 30mph limit, following another car, and the symbol came on the dash. It wasn't immediately clear whether the high beam was on, but I suspect it was. Similarly, I've seen it on the dashboard driving through town, around other cars. It seems completely different to any car I have or have owned with Auto High Beam.
Help me understand Auto Full Beam

The green indicator, headlight symbol with A in, is the system ready indicator, this come on with the lights in Auto setting and the ambient light low enough. When the high beam support works, then the blue headlight symbol comes on, the same as when you use the system manually.
