I made some wallpaper for the Honda e. It n̶e̶e̶d̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶4̶0̶9̶6̶x̶1̶1̶9̶6̶ should be 3840 x 720 pixels (native resolution) if you want to make your own.

Yeah, I didn't notice but when I said I ordered a Honda e my friend started laughing and reminded me of the sumo guy from Street Fighter II!

I like that :) but on a screen I would prefer something more colourful.

On the manual says 4096 x 2304

Oh, maybe I did it wrong, I though it read it. Or maybe it's just letterboxed, I made it a while back. Can anyone try it out?

2000 high seems like too much, it would be 2:1 aspect ratio and it's more like 4:1.

That size (4096 x 2304) is possibly just for each of the 2 displays.

Here are the wallpaper requirements:
  • The wallpaper you set up on Wallpaper cannot be displayed on the driver information interface.
  • When importing wallpaper files, the image must be in the USB flash drive’s root directory.
  • Images in a folder cannot be imported.
  • The file name must be less than 64 bytes.
  • The file format of the image that can be imported is BMP (bmp) or JPEG (jpg).
  • The individual file size limit is less than 10 MB.
  • If the USB flash drive does not have any pictures, the message appears.
  • Up to 16 pictures can be imported.
  • The maximum image size is 4,096 × 2,304 pixels. If the image size is less than 1,280 x 720, the image is displayed in the middle of the screen with the extra area appearing in black.
  • If the size of the added picture is larger than the screen area, it will maintain the aspect ratio of the picture data and be reduced to fit the screen area.

It seems to be saying that's the maximum size and that's bigger than the screens.

I'm sure I read my number somewhere, I checked it and then carefully resized the graphics

So, does this mean we do need two 4096 x 2304 files?
I prepared two .jpeg – in bright yellow for Reuben80:

Hondae_yellow_2.jpg

I guess one for the left an one for the right screen...
