I would be good if we could get hold of one of the files from the original wallpapers to get the correct resolution.

Which resolution isn’t correct?
I can assure you the two main displays have a native resolution of 1920 x 720 each meaning a 3840 x 720 wallpaper fits exactly with no scaling or gaps/borders.
Try any of the images I posted here to see:

3840 X 720 has worked well for me. And as for the USB issue... I had no problems with a FAT32 formatted 32GB stick. Happy days.
