Impressed with the HDMI input

I know the screens are small but I must say I am impressed with the HDMI input.

Just used my Phone Sony Xperia 1 with JSAUX USB-C to HDTV adaptor (4K as my phone screen is) and cheap HDMI lead

Watched Netflix YouTube Videos on my Phone was well impressed with the sound when watching Ragnorok.

I can see charging sessions when away from home not being a hardship at all.

Must dig out my 3DO Game cube etc next

Will be working on getting some of my old games from my Acorn RiscPC working on my RasberryPi I quite fancy playing through BugHunter in Space.

This just makes so much sense - I may have to dig out my old portable DVD player and watch all of the X-Files etc.

Loving the flexibility of this little buggy!

I connected my Nintendo switch to mine just for the sake of it - using HDMI and had power through the three pin socket. Worked a treat. No idea it I’ll ever do that “in anger” though.

Looking forward to my experiment of hooking up a Mac mini using HDMI and 3 pin
Anyone tried this?

3DO! Wow, that takes me back! I hope you didn't pay full price when it came out, haha!

Does anyone know the best way to connect an iPhone to the HDMI to watch you tube? Or is using some sort of streaming ‘stick’ better ?

I bought this original Apple cable, see image, and a short HDMI cable. It seems like the HDMI module in the car needs to learn or something, or the iPhone itself, because it didn't work for me right away. I use the synchronous display of the iPhone. Maybe if you use an AppleTV, you can use Airplay. I bought a Google Chromecast, but I can't get it to work.

I've tried, hdmi cable, Chromecast and Amazon fire stick, and the Amazon one worked the best for me.
Cable had poor quality and didn't always work and I couldn't get the Chromecast to work without to iphones.
