What is the best/worst/most notable reaction by the public to your Honda e ?

The first week after I picked up the e, nobody cared about it. That changed afterwards. Received a lot of positive reactions, honking and thumbs up, especially from young people. Only one less enjoyable experience. Family in fat Mercedes AMG driving next to me and laughing at me, you could see that clearly. At the next traffic light showing how fast an electric car can accelerate, did not even use the sport mode, saw the man try to press the accelerator in the rear mirror, but did not come any closer. Then let go and saw the angry (why?) faces. Priceless.

When driving out and about we’ve seen lots of stares, head swerves, and finger pointing. We’re enjoying the exclusivity!

Tesla owner acknowledgements aside, the best was passing a few delightfully well restored old English roadsters over the first few weeks (before they went in to winter storage. Consistent mutual thumbs up for the choice of car every time.

But so many people still stop and stare when I drive past. The Honda e clearly touches on something that other cars have been missing - presumably for decades.

Get thumbs up often. Also get cars coming alongside me on the motorway and I can see them out of side of my eye

Couple walking their dog past my house yesterday, stopped in their tracks and looked at the Honda for a good few minutes.

Ocado man stood talking to me for 10 minutes about my car and the national grids capacity to charge cars. ..

Most recent reaction was yesterday, dropping off me poor e for accident repair (viewtopic.php?t=606) where virtually everyone I met wanted to see it, sit in it and discuss it. I guess I'm the first one to be unlucky enough to end up with them. Fingers crossed they'll take good care of it replacing the bumper and light cluster.
