Engaging drive via paddle?

On page 386 of the manual it kinda suggests that can use the deceleration paddle to engage drive (D). Is that right?
I’ve just watched a Harry’s garage video on YouTube about the Lamborghini Hurracan and in that you can click the right paddle to engage drive. Just wondering if the Honda e can you the same thing....

That's basically saying you can use the paddles to alter the level of regen in either single pedal mode or normal driving mode (in which the regen is temporary)
