Surprised to receive this today, given that I have 3yr deal. Seems too soon. But I guess 6 months has elapsed already. Anyone else received similar?

This is stated in the Core Connectivity terms and conditions, see a screenshot of the headings, I can't find the full details, but from memory it's along the lines of that a new code will need to be generated periodically to confirm ownership of the linked car. This will be because Honda UK / Honda dealership network will not have passed any ownership details to the app developer due to privacy legislation (i.e. GDPR):

And what happens if the MyHonda+ app doesn't work? i.e. like for the last 'n' weeks!

Does the account become suspended due to apparent absence of response?

Hi, I'm having a bit of a problem. I've had our E for a year, just had the email from Honda to confirm ownership. I did this successfully 6 months ago, however I cant quite remember how I did it......
The simple 'just open the app and request a passcode' is proving difficult, has anyone recently managed this? If so please can you explain the method for me.
I can't find any help on the Honda website or in the manual.
Is it me or has the app changed?

Sorted it by logging out of the app on iphone, logging back in to my account, updating login details which then allowed pairing and pin generation. What a clart! Honda pdf may be of help, more for first pairing of car and app.
