Phone batteries are managed by battery care feature at least it does on my Sony, normally allowing you to let the phone fully charge by the time it thinks you will need the phone, I don't have regen on my phone
Slow AC charging is very different to DC fast charging much lower current levels with AC charging. And on this car if you charge to 100% are you charging it to 28.5 kWh or 35.5 kWh?

This seems sound advice, esp. only charging to 100% occasionally, and then only if you plan to drive car immediately after.
