Hi,

Does anyone know the reason why there is no audio sound when approaching speed cameras like other car/sat nav do?

Anyone know if the Honda E has a setting for this?

Cheers.

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

I'm no way qualified to answer your question but hate to see somebody ignored.

I did feel exactly the same after purchasing my e, having used to Tomtom based built-in sat nav with my prev EV, with speed camera info. There are a lot of Civic and other Honda owner's discussion about built in Garmin (and some suggests complicated solution - but with further procedure going on forever afterwards), when I searched internet originally.

As for the reason some speculate that because Honda didn't want to make each country specific for Europe market (eg. France ban speed camera info on sat nav etc), other say it's just cost saving.

Nonetheless I hope you're enjoying your e all the same, even without beep!

My stand alone Garmin provides warnings for speed cameras so there is no reason to block it other than in France.

Thanks for coming back. Surprised the various reviews have not mention it.
