Not sure when or even if they will ever be….

I'd be surprised if it was bad for the battery, the discharge rate would surely be a fraction of what the drive motor pulls from the battery? Also the amount of kwh pulled from the battery would be much lower than driving.

I don't know how V2G works but maybe because the battery has to be 100%?
Good question I guess we won't really know until it's rolled to more homes and realworld data is collected and analysed. There does seem to be major benefits for it, so I'd expect it to become a norm in the next few years.
