That could be the cause of mine but I doubt it because it's now intermittent. Today I did an 80 mile round trip and the window randomly had a hissy fit for a couple of minutes before being OK for a while before playing up again for another couple of minutes.Trykpaa wrote: ↑Fri Aug 06, 2021 10:41 amIn ours, correcting the gasket and applying some silicone solved this problem. In the mean time, you can mitigate by rolling down the window by 5mm (i.e a tiny bit, so still "closed") when driving.londiniumperson wrote: ↑Thu Aug 05, 2021 11:45 am Please could you tell me the dealership that quoted this price because only yesterday I was quoted £175 inc VAT for the first service and today I was just about to book it in along with the replacement door switch. As of yesterday it just got worse and now the driver's window opens/closes every few seconds which is not only annoying on a 35 min commute but concerning that it doesn't fully close when I shut the door and lock the car, especially with wet weather on the horizon and also only the day before a bunch of scumbags hacked off a catalytic converter from a neighbour's car at 1am.
BTW the neighbour reported it to the police, but as expected they weren't interested even though they & my son saw the criminals.
Also now it rarely closes straight away when the door is closed, but a few minutes after the car is locked.
