As of yesterday it just got worse and now the driver's window opens/closes every few seconds which is not only annoying on a 35 min commute but concerning that it doesn't fully close when I shut the door and lock the car, especially with wet weather on the horizon and also only the day before a bunch of scumbags hacked off a catalytic converter from a neighbour's car at 1am.
BTW the neighbour reported it to the police, but as expected they weren't interested even though they & my son saw the criminals.
In ours, correcting the gasket and applying some silicone solved this problem. In the mean time, you can mitigate by rolling down the window by 5mm (i.e a tiny bit, so still "closed") when driving.
That could be the cause of mine but I doubt it because it's now intermittent. Today I did an 80 mile round trip and the window randomly had a hissy fit for a couple of minutes before being OK for a while before playing up again for another couple of minutes.
Also now it rarely closes straight away when the door is closed, but a few minutes after the car is locked.

I am temped to do all the maintenance myself from now on.
I've seriously considered using an EV specialist because in the UK, the block exemption rules include clauses protecting consumer rights regarding service and repair allowing the work to be carried out by an independent garage as long as that garage uses manufacturer approved parts and correctly follows the manufacturer's service schedule. However EV specialists are few and far between, and having a Honda stamp will help resale value and also keep the corrosion warranty valid which requires an annual inspection by a Honda dealer.

I just had my first service at a cost of £175 which took over 3 hours. They were struggling with the update but repaired a slow puncture at no extra cost so probably worth the wait

Was that the Sat Nav update or another one?

Thanks, I'd forgotten about that one, mine was updated 4 months ago.

Pollen/air filer is changed annually,

Brake fluid changed every 3 years.

Transmission fluid every 31k-62k km

Plus a list of visual checks every year

It's different in the UK and it depends if you drive your vehicle under severe conditions:

These are connected cars, why haven't I been contacted at 6000 miles to have these 6000 mile inspections? seems like Honda can't be arsed to follow their own maintenance plan, where does that leave us warranty-wise?

It is whatever comes soonest!

When I phoned up to arrange a service on my Honda, they didn't have clue what was involved in servicing it. They were so stupid that they believed it had a fuel filter, even when I told them it was an EV it didn't seem to register with what they had just said, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
My personal experience to date of car dealers, especially manufacturer franchises is very poor.

Warranty wise it might only be an issue if there's a manufacturing issue with the brakes, I haven't checked but I suspect that any brake related issues are excluded due to wear & tear clauses. Anyway legally I understand that it'd be down to Honda & not an owner to prove whether any issues were pre existing or not, also I doubt that they'd have a leg to stand on with the 6000 mile brake check requirement, not only does no other manufacturer insist on this, but the dealers aren't aware that it's required and I doubt that anyone was made aware of this when they purchased their car.
