Most efficient electric cars?

Since this seems to be a growing trend that will only expand here in the UK, I want to know which electric cars are considered the most efficient in terms of getting the furthest on a single charge. From what I have read and heard, the Tesla Model 3 seems to be in the lead.

Don't confuse "range" with "efficiency". The Tesla currently has the best range, but not the best efficiency (miles per kWh of electric charge).

Take those lists with a pinch of salt though, since much of the data is based on estimates, not real world usage.
