I’ve just ordered a Kangoo ZE for work to replace our old Nemo. Yes I know there is a new Kangoo coming out soon but this was on offer for £150/month plus VAT and as we do an average of 65 miles a day it might pay for itself on diesel savings alone, not to mention the imminent clutch, timing chain, and brake overhaul that the Nemo needs at just 80k.
Anyway my question is, if one of my drivers runs the charge down in the Kangoo out in the wilds of South Yorkshire, can I get in the Honda e , and give the Kangoo a boost via the Honda’s three pin socket AND using the Honda’s granny cable? Apparently the Kangoo has no rapid charging, only type 2 and doesn’t come with a granny cable.
Charging a Kangoo ZE from the Honda e ?
I think I remember a Byorn Nolan’s Video, where he charged another car via the Honda e’s three pin socket but don’t know what cable he used. I’ll have to find it when I get to work in a minute.

Possibly - there's only one way to find out!
However, the Honda can only supply a maximum of 1.5kW (230V, 6.5amps) from its 3-pin socket, so an hour of charging would probably only give you 5 or 6 miles of range.
Bjorn charged his Tesla Model 3 from the Honda for a few minutes, just to prove it could be done, but it's a very slow charge rate. I think the charge cable for the Tesla (or the car's software) allowed him to choose how many amps to charge with. The Honda's charge cable doesn't have the option to select a lower current, it charges at 10 amps, so it would be trying to pull more than 1.5kW. But maybe it would work?

Thanks, as you say the only way will be to try. What’s the worst that can happen ?
It might only effect us on a cold winters day with a 100 mile delivery day,
