I won’t get rid of my Honda E, and will never go back to fossil, but I can confirm that the charging infrastructure is atrocious. Many broken chargers or locked up at night.

Mark McCall from the Electric Vehicle Association NI that made the claim:
Then makes another statement, which appears to contradict his case:many drivers are dumping their cars and reverting to diesel and petrol models.
It would be interesting to know exactly how many 'many' is, rather than being vague, surely if was a substantial % then he would have quoted an actual figure.2020 sales for new plug-in vehicles in Northern Ireland showed a 290% increase on 2019. So last year, we registered almost as many new electric vehicles here as in the seven-year period 2011-2017

Wait is NI still in the EU?!However, the Department for Infrastructure said its minister Nichola Mallon had matched funding under the EU InterReg scheme to increase the number of rapid charging points across Northern Ireland.
