Not sure why it’s so confusing. The first image is a simulated view constructed using the external cameras, “looking” forwards. The image from the seconds post shows a rear-view mirror equivalent shot (from the rear camera, flipped horizontally), so the left/right wrt the driver facing forward is not reversed.
You're right. I'm used to the reversing camera, and overhead 360 degree display, of the Nissan LEAF, and in fact that's the same! I obviously was confused at the time, just looking at the still photo! Just ignore me!

Can you select which way it goes in?

It's no good going in backwards if you need to charge!

Yes. The Honda e has an automatic self parking system, that does not need driver action, apart from the initial spot selection.
It's only on the Advance model though.

I was not able to test the self park on my test drive. Honda garage parking bay markings not strong enough to read
But that’s a good point about reverse parking into a bay. When the charge point is at the front of the car. Doh!

Well, yes. We all agree on that.
Nevertheless it is interesting that they haven’t thought about charging or that the technology isn’t capable of doing it.
I guess after playing with it for a few times you will stop using the feature because you will be quicker doing it manually...

Yeah with all those cameras you don't really need it. But there are people who are afraid of parallel parking so for them is ok.
