Just had my First Service: better late than never. Clocked 10254 miles.
Honda Dealer quoted me £82.74 and then only charged me £81.55 (67.96+13.59 VAT)
Only an Inspection Service, no problems found, although they also did Software update for Rear Seat Belt Warning recall.

That was a win, my dealer threw their toys right out of the pram when I asked them to price match another Honda dealer's price of £117 because the standard price was £175

Here in Malta I did the first service, 20k km and 1year.
Costed 132euros, changed pollen filter + brake fluid..... Even if the manual says every 3 years for brake fluid.
Checked the brakes. They said 25% worn out which is a lot considering regen braking.

Not sure whether it is due to Software update, but I’m getting surprisingly good economy today. Never seen Predicted mileage of 135 miles before, so I stopped to capture this. I will check my tyre pressures. Maybe they pumped them up, although I doubt they had the time.

I am about to bring mine for servicing, how long it takes if everything is normal or just minor fix?

I’d suggest contacting the garage that will be doing the work as they’ll be best placed to tell you.

There isn't really much to service. Its mostly an inspection, so its more about when they can fit it in as apposed to how long it will take.

They did bleed some new brake fluid though as the pedal firmness change was instantly noticeable. Never checked my cabin filter - wouldn't mind even if they didn't change it to be fair - its unlikely to be that grotty in 10k.

I dont think the car was there for more than 2.5 hours, and they cleaned it inside and out aswell, and fitted us in on a saturday morning as they know we are not local (Aylesbury honda, decent people). i never asked about software updates. I suspect that they appreciate extra notice and time to fit in updating all modules/units as required (I havent seen it done, but suspect that they could be numerous and troublesome to do). As they say in IT, if its not broken, don't break it!

Very detail thank you! I am not local as well and was thinking if I should stay in Stockport or travel back home (40mins). If it’s around 3 hours I better wait over there.
