Does anyone know a work around to get this working.

I own a iPhone13 and my car will not connect for the digital key.
Apple play and other Bluetooth services work absolutely fine.

I’ve been trying now for several days with no success.

No work around needed, just follow the simple instructions on the app.

It was a bit flaky when there was a free trial offer for the digital key years ago, but it worked a treat for me when I tried it a moment ago.

It’s constantly saying ‘connecting’ not moving from this. I can’t find a list of what devices are accepted. Newer phones tend to use a new Bluetooth version. I was curious if the support for the key was a different Bluetooth connection.

Can I ask, as it’s not clear. Are you activating this swipe for digital key inside unlocked or outside locked car?

Starting by stood outside by the driver's door with the car locked.

All bluetooth versions are backward compatible which means that your newer phone should have no issues connecting to any older bluetooth device. You can rule out this from the list of potential causes.

Cheers both for your input. Really appreciated.

Tried with two phones, iphone13 and iphone15
Just not connecting. I’m stuck at the connecting screen.

Might be just my car. Odd that Apple play works fine.
Stood in the wonderful British weather next to my locked car with no luck 😅

Is the digital key bluetooth, or is it NFC? I only ask as the user may have some nearby device or case which affects NFC comms.

You could try, as per this previous post, disconnecting the 12volt batter for 5 - 10 mins.
