Re: Advance vs Standard
Thanks for the responses.
Yes the key issue is simple availability although the point about residuals holding up better is a good one. It will always be a niche purchase so the ‘rarity value’ of the lower spec model could be quite marked (downward).
That said if the numbers work better for me I’d still consider it. I’m generally prepared to pay for a sound system upgrade but on a test drive it wasn’t noticeably high end. I’m watching the upgrade thread with interested as I’ve also swapped out speakers on previous cars for modestly priced better brand version and seen a significant improvement.
I will concede the 360 top down view camera was a real wow moment for me - I laughed out loud. I’ve not seen this system before. So who knows ......

Re: Advance vs Standard
.... and the last update I had re availability on the Standard version was ‘possibly Mar21’ so didn’t feel certain by any means ...
Re: Advance vs Standard
Glad I wasn't the only one to notice that... 180hp would be nice.. but I would better have a 180 top speed than 180hp.SwissChris wrote: ↑Tue Nov 03, 2020 3:49 pmSure it is the same engine. Even the Honda CR-V hybrid is using the same engine, however with more bhp, but same 315 Nm.

How did you swap out the speakers?
Photos and steps please
FDAD has documented the centre speaker
I’m seeking the sub change
Thanks

Re: Advance vs Standard
It’s very much a personal thing in terms of how much you value the additional features but my view is they amount to more than price difference and are well worth it.

Re: Advance vs Standard
Sorry I should have been clear this was in previous vehicles ( now edited above ! ) but I actually took it ( a company car lease vehicle ) into a car audio specialist and as they were selling me the speakers and head unit the fitting cost was modest.
It then cost me about £50 for them to swap everything back at the end of the lease.
I couldn’t take any chances with messing it up with DIY - I’d give one a call ( is Car Audio still a ‘thing’ !) and just be prepared to pay slightly more for the speakers.
Those people know their way around cars even if they haven’t encountered a model before.
So far I’ve only test driven the E.

Well spotted! The advance steering wheel looks nicer.

Re: Advance vs Standard
Surely it makes sense to buy a low mileage ex demo Advance, which is similar in
price to the Standard.
Plenty about.
