Firmware on press car

Hey,

I have a Honda E press car which I have been loaned to make some videos on for my YouTube channel - tech in the car - check it out if you haven’t!

I have been reading through this forum and I’ve seen posts about the range being over 100 miles even though it’s never shown me more than 95 miles on 100% battery. Also my aquarium is missing!

I understand there was a firmware update that increased the range - I don’t know if I have it on my car - but I suspect maybe not.

Rather than try and get this sorted without all the facts I wanted to turn to the experts here in this forum.

(Also anything you would want to see covered in a video that you feel others ignore or are really cool let me know!)

I don’t have the aquarium and I can’t get it to load so your probably safe on that!

I know that those things are repetitive but I can’t leave it out or I’ll get comments asking how I could leave them all out!

Any thoughts on the range and firmware? Do the cars have more than 100 miles normally?

I really like this car. If I was in the market for a city car I’d buy this. I’ve driven plenty of other cars on my channel but this is the one I’d buy right now.

Firmware is likely a red herring; it's how the car has been driven from new. I got mine with 7 miles on the clock, full charge estimate is ~125miles usually and about right, in all but the very coldest weather.

Highest range mine has shown is 105 miles, mostly it shows 80-90 miles.

I had mine in for fw update a couple of months ago, they said it's got the latest.

We cannot see our fw versions in this car.

Please review the driving.... You can do powerslides, and doughnuts but be sure that the car will disable sport mode all assists and even tpms.

My car at it's worst in the winter showed 130kms at 90% but I used heating.. during summer I can get 170 to 190kms real world range... (Showing 200kms close to 90%) highway during summer gets me about 160kms from 15/20% to 90%.
