I meant to add to this thread that when I inquired with a dealer that gave an air of knowledge they told me Honda have a 30 year pledge to supply parts for discontinued cars. Sounds like bs to me but…..

Yeah that's not true at all. Perhaps for service components but not for things you need.

Eg I cannot get a rear exhaust heat shield for the prelude. It rusted off a while ago. Various trim pieces and electronic components also. Understandable. Most service and engine parts are available, but not all.
