My e is in the workshop so I have the e:ny1 for the day.
Many things with the driving experience is similar to the e, some things are better and some things are worse.

Controls for infotainment is the same or similar.
Climate controls are all digital now – no physical controls.
The actual drive feel is not bad, but not nearly as good as the e.
Lane assist is improved, and works in all speeds.
Obviously and objectively the design is worse, from an esthetic perspective.

If anyone has any questions about features or design similarities or differences I’ll try to answer as best I can.

Thanks for the insight, I guess we can add to the list of obvious omissions, that's there's no OPD mode.

Are front and rear backup cameras better or the same?

Copying Tesla with that display? I much prefer the E system built into the dash.

I also 'borrowed' the e:Ny1 for a day. It's not a bad car, but it lacks the wow factor that the e does have. Many user actions are the same as in the e and the large central screen divided into 3 parts is nice. You do notice that the e:Ny1 is a 'converted' ICE. What was really not nice is the whining sound of the engine.

A little bit better, was my observation.

I don't think the e:Ny1 is a converted ICE though.

I know it looks just like the HRV but I don't think it actually has anything in common with the HRV.

I think it's either a new electric platform or based on something Chinese.
