My e is in the workshop so I have the e:ny1 for the day.
Many things with the driving experience is similar to the e, some things are better and some things are worse.
Controls for infotainment is the same or similar.
Climate controls are all digital now β no physical controls.
The actual drive feel is not bad, but not nearly as good as the e.
Lane assist is improved, and works in all speeds.
Obviously and objectively the design is worse, from an esthetic perspective.
If anyone has any questions about features or design similarities or differences Iβll try to answer as best I can.
I also 'borrowed' the e:Ny1 for a day. It's not a bad car, but it lacks the wow factor that the e does have. Many user actions are the same as in the e and the large central screen divided into 3 parts is nice. You do notice that the e:Ny1 is a 'converted' ICE. What was really not nice is the whining sound of the engine.
