Both wiper arms are set to the maintenance position
Just read this thread, and went to check my loaner car. This is a car that I would bet money has never been cleaned by anyone who doesn’t work for Honda.

And....

Damage exactly where the wiper arms hit the bonnet. Oops.

That is why I have asked Honda not to wash my car before its handed over to me...

... I should add, if I ever get it.

So for all the lazy drivers among us: any thoughts about using a decent car wash with cloth brushes? Do the glossy black plastic parts suffer?

Yes! Possibly the easiest surface on the vehicle to scratch.

Glossy black plastic trims either side of roof/windscreen are soft and easily marked. Be extra careful.

I applied Gyeon MOHS to my White paintwork, and it has proved to be excellent. Very easy to hose down, clean and dry. Wish I had discovered many cars ago.
I asked my Dealer not to prepare/wax pre-delivery.

I have Gyeon Foam and Bathe. Bathe is excellent. Very concentrated, so you only need a very small amount, and it makes lots of suds. 2 bucket method.

Yep, Bathe is a great product and is in my collection too. BTBM still gets my No.1 vote though. ;)

Is this the right stuff Chester? Because this seems to be less than half the price I can see it anywhere else, even cheaper than the half-sized 250 ml bottle also on Amazon.

That's the one. Really good price too (£15 on Dodo's own site).
